CIFP A Carballeira – Marcos Valcárcel is a public Integrated Vocational Education and Training Centre located in Ourense, Galicia (Spain). The centre provides initial VET, continuing training for adults, and lifelong learning programmes, with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and employability. CIFP A Carballeira offers intermediate and higher vocational programmes (EQF levels 4 and 5) in several professional fields, including Information Technology and Communications, Health and Social Care, Agrifood Industries, and Laboratory Sciences.
The centre maintains close cooperation with local, national, and international companies to ensure that training is aligned with labour market needs. The centre is actively involved in internationalisation and European cooperation, particularly through Erasmus+ mobility projects, hosting and sending students and staff for training and work-based learning placements abroad.
