Background and Rationale

This workshop is organised by the European Training Foundation (ETF), to present and discuss the draft results of the Rapid Education Diagnosis (RED) conducted in 2024. The RED was implemented by the ETF as the first component of the EU-funded “Supporting Education Reforms and Skills in Eastern Partnership” (SER) Programme.

The Rapid Education Diagnosis (RED) methodology aims to identify and document critical elements of the education sector, including system’s weaknesses, policy gaps, bottlenecks, and risks. The results are intended to inform the Government of the Republic of Armenia (hereafter, Armenia), the European Union (EU), and development partners, helping to guide their priority interventions. The findings will also support the policy dialogue between the EU and Armenia.

The workshop will bring together a diverse group of national partners from both public institutions and civil society organizations. The goals of the workshop are to:

  1. Share the key findings and tentative recommendations of the draft Rapid Education Diagnosis (RED) report on Armenia;

  2. Collect feedback, including additional suggestions or updated data and information, which will contribute to finalising the report.
