The Alliance for Batteries Technology, Training and Skills (ALBATTS) aims to be a major contribution to the green mobility in Europe. As the European battery value chain is being developed, organisations from the demand and supply side of skills/competences are brought together, to establish a blueprint for preparedness of future skills across Europe. The aim of the online course is to give experienced automotive engineers, coming from different disciplines and wishing to broaden their skills, an opportunity to learn about the interactions and overlaps between the topics of safety-critical development, quality engineering and automotive process engineering.
The goal of the online course is to give a solid overview of functional safety, automotive quality and automotive process engineering, adapted to the learner's learning speed and pace. It is free and you need to register online. It has a discussion forum to get support from the Teacher. If you find helpful resources that are not within this course, be prepared to share them with your fellow participants in the discussion forum. On the level of organisations, this course is mainly aimed at manufacturers, suppliers, networks/clusters in the automotive context, to gain an overview of the topics and can also be used for later integration into your own training catalogue. Depending on the respective previous experience of the participants and/or requirements of the company profile, a further in-depth training of the individual topics is offered with practical case studies and by qualified industry experts.
