With a growing shortage of healthcare workers and a large gap between the health industry, education, and IT, the healthcare system in the EU is facing a big challenge. In the Care about IT project, 15 partners from four EU countries, coming from both education and the industry, have combined forces to combat this issue. The HealthTech ecosystem scan plays a crucial role in the establishment of the Care about IT CoVE.
A HealthTech ecosystem scan of the Care about IT CoVE of the participating countries has been carried out. This comparison allows assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of each regional ecosystem, the best practices and skills required have been summarised as a practical means to ensure that appropriate project objectives can be tailored based on the results in relation to HealthTech.
