The event is the next milestone in the debate on new labour market trends linked to globalisation and digitalisation, which bring unprecedent labour market flexibility in the Western Balkans and beyond. It will be the occasion for the appraisal of the ETF research conducted in the region and consolidated in the regional report and the six country profiles.
The conference also aims to foster reflection on the implications for youth employment and skills development in flexible labour market contexts as well as to identify possible policy solutions, building on opportunities and mitigating challenges linked with new forms of work: platform work and other flexible forms of employment.
We are looking forward to discussing with you and gathering your opinions on the priorities for policy actions to boost youth employment and skills development in the region.
