Our November 2021 Applied Research and Innovation Affinity Group Webinar features a keynote presentation by two undergraduate students who have experienced the benefits of applied research during their educational and professional journeys. There will also be an update on our Applied Research Mapping Project: a landscape survey of how VET institutions approach applied research in terms of activities, collaborations, fields of study, knowledge transfer, methodologies, nomenclature, outcomes, resources, student learning, and technology adoption. As our members are the source of our strength and success, we will feature three case studies from Australian, Basque, and Canadian institutions showcasing their work in applied research and their visions for the future.
