BDC Achievements during COVID-19 (April & May 2020)
-BDC reached out to 764,000 through all its projects, programs and initiatives supported by different donors and partners add reaching out tools, where the reach-out was conducted through Social media platforms, awareness sessions, orientation sessions and BDC Talks with partners, officials and decision makers.
-BDC conducted 11 online sessions as (BDC Talks) with partners, officials and decision makers via zoom platform and facebook lives (3 live sessions).
-BDC conducted 252 training and mentoring sessions through its projects and programs.
-BDC conducted 32 training workshops through its projects and programs.
-BDC trained and mentored 720 female/male entrepreneur and SME through its projects and programs.
-BDC trained 665 female/male youth across Jordan through its projects and programs (soft skills trainings).
-BDC trained 653 female/male beneficiaries in 2 universities (University of Jordan-JU and Al-Ahliyya Amman University- AAU through Maharat Programme courses as 3 credited hours been given over 33 sessions for employment and entrepreneurship and 9 awareness sessions.
-BDC trained& employed 127 female/male beneficiaries in vocational training.
-BDC trained 750 female/male beneficiaries both Jordanians and Syrians in the host communities through its projects and programs.
-BDC provided career guidance/counseling for 810 female/male beneficiaries.
-BDC conducted 2 ToT for distance learning attended by 48 trainers, focusing on the best practices of conducting online and distance learning & training.
-BDC conducted 2 virtual job fairs through zoom platform and 30 job interviews were conducted.
-60% of beneficiaries are women.
-Very good to excellent satisfactory level toward the services provided.
