Introducing and using new pedagogies
Teachers are learners too, and they need to explore and internalise new pedagogies and develop their own key competences before they can apply them in their teaching. Teachers as facilitators of learning may need to experiment with new learning contexts, different classroom set-ups, and use of digital technologies, as well as visiting work places and developing facilitation and coaching skills. Collaboration with colleagues and development of reflection are important pedagogical dimensions that can help teachers to adopt new pedagogies. Teachers should become researchers of their own practices, gathering feedback from students and colleagues in schools and enterprises in order to improve.
