Methodolo – G

The “Methodolo – G”  is a method that aims to use digital products and technologies in the educational process.

For successful implementation of the method, GOOGLE digital products such as Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Forms are crucial. If we use the method only in a classroom, a sufficient number of computer devices are needed. And if we use the mentioned teaching model online format, the learners will be mobilized properly.

This method can be used both in face-to-face and online classes. It is focused on digitalization of learning and teaching process, flexibility, and most importantly, to reduce paper waste in learning/teaching process and to promote sustainable development of the environment.

Implementation of the method

First of all, a teacher/trainer creates an individual GOOGLE DOCS for learners (one document for each participant) and shares with them the document, which still contains the activities and tasks needed for the lesson/training. During the learning process, the teacher/trainer observes each learner's activity, gives some advice and recommendations to them step-by-step. After completing a specific topic, the teacher/trainer will share common empty GOOGLE SLIDES online with the learners where they create a common product based on the information which was given through the process. Then they will make a presentation together and talk about their work. In the last phase, in order to receive feedback from learners, the teacher/trainer shares GOOGLE FORMS where the learners answer closed and open-ended questions anonymously which will help the teacher/trainer in self-reflection to improve the existing drawback for the future.

Using this method, the learning/teaching process becomes more flexible, creative, effective, based on digital technologies, and most importantly, with such a methodology, we reduce the probability of using paper, take care of the environment, and reduce the harmful impact of humans on nature.
