The current environmental challenges urge a re-thinking of the economic transformation and growth of our societies, that should be based on the human dimension and capacities for sustainable development. Young people will play a critical role in this change, and therefore education and training are key components to move towards sustainable societies.

Educators must be equipped with the capacities to build green skills and green attitudes among their learners, both when working on green-related subjects and across the curriculum.

The webinar is organised by the ETF Community of Innovative Educators in collaboration with the GRETA (Greening Responses to Excellence through Thematic Actions), that is the green VET partnership in the ETF Network for Excellence. It will present practical approaches and methods to build green skills and attitudes among learners, and foster a discussion on what needs to happen for educators to become key change-makers for sustainable societies.
