Due to COVID-19 crisis and the closure of the borders, many countries are desperately looking for low-skilled professionals (lorry drivers in UK, agriculture workers in Italy) to fill in the vacancies that used to be filled by labour migrants.

So in a way we are seeing a real life experiment that showed us the results of when the borders are shut and the labour migrants can not come.
