Dear Open Spacers,
World Economic Forum has recently published an article on ?5 innovations that were brought during 2020 global pandemic, and that are here to stay, in the "new normal".

1️⃣Tech for learning ?
Technology to deepen and support learning outside the classroom
Videos, online conversations, digital platform, they are here to stay. and become an important part of the learning process.

2️⃣ Redefining engagement ?
The interactions and discussions of students that take part in online can say much more about engagement than simply showing up at a lecture.

3️⃣New ways to assess the results of learning ?
Traditional formats of assessment were not possible.
So new forms of assessment were reinforced (case studies, inquiry etc)

4️⃣New role of learners ?️‍♀️
Online learning required significant commitment, motivation and self-management. So the role (and the responsibility) of the learners wpu;d most likely much bigger.

5️⃣Changing the formula ?
The sudden switch to online learning, with short notice and lack of experience, has been difficult for many. But, with time to plan, online learning could allow teaching staff to fine-tune the curriculum and better adapt to the learner's needs.

❓Do you agree with all points❓
