Over the weekend in Egypt, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education under the leadership its Deputy Minister has been in a 2-days workshop with its 3 main development partners (the EU funded TVET Egypt programme, the German funded support to the Dual System and Centers of Competence and the USAID funded WISE programme) in an impressive move towards enhanced donor coordination and joint planning for the implementation a Technical Education 2.0 reform strategy.
ETF was invited to coordinate the session in the capacity of an honest broker, facilitating the discussion on who-is-doing-what in each of the 5-pillars of the ambitious reform, ranging from quality assurance, competency based curricula, teacher training, over centers of competency to enhanced TVET image. #TE2.0reform #Egypt#EU#GIZ#KFW#USAID
