On 16 November about 80 participants from ETF partner countries gathered together during the online event organized by ETF Community of Innovative Educators.
? The webinar presented the results of the 2022 ETF Call for innovative teaching and learning practices, both analysing the mostly targeted areas of innovation and briefly presenting the ten finalists practices that have been selected out of the 800+ received applications.
Overview:
?Call open for one month, deadline 22 July 2022
?750 complete submissions received from 62 countries
?All screened by ETF, 60 most innovative ones evaluated by the international jury
- 10 finalist practices selected and engaged
- 2 special mentions selected (international practice and collaboration project)
- 3 winners will be selectedat the New Learnign event (2 from jury one from community voting)
In 2023:
- All practices are being contacted to be included in the ETF database
- Clusteringof practices will take place for projects, discussions, etc.
The session closed with a short survey: “How to support mainstream of teaching and learning innovation?”
1. By increasing awareness about these practices in their ecosystems.
2. By fostering recognition of innovative educators through different means (financial,
more time to innovate, etc.).
3. By providing practical support on how to scale-up and multiply the innovative
practice.
4. By providing learning opportunities on innovative teaching and learning
5. By connecting the practice with similar national and international cases, to reach the needed critical mass.
