The STEAM Education Conference, hosted by Telavi State University, was held on June 8th in Telavi, Georgia. The conference welcomed academic staff, PhD students, STEAM teachers, and school principals to engage in discussions on innovative approaches to STEAM education.

Key themes of the conference included:

Inquiry-based learning
Teaching with a focus on long-term learning goals
The use of technology in the classroom
Non-formal and inclusive education
Action research
Challenges and opportunities in the natural and agricultural sciences


One of the key highlights was a presentation by Fabio Nascimbeni, Human Capital Development Expert at the European Training Foundation, who shared international perspectives on STEAM innovation. His presentation introduced the ETF New Learning Club on STEAM, a platform designed to foster global collaboration and the exchange of STEAM teaching practices.
