Research on Leadership in Project Management in Higher Education

In relation to my PhD dissertation, I would like to invite colleagues to take part in this survey and share their opinion about aspects of leading international projects in the field of higher education.

My research topic is Digital Transformation of Leadership in Project Management, and I am focusing on international projects in higher education. The study is centred around the specifics of e-leadership and leading virtual teams, the similarities with leading international projects in higher education in the context of digital transformation, and the competences and practices facilitating the project manager.

In this respect, I am drawing an analogy between leading projects in higher education and leading virtual teams, and am trying to identify the most important competences that transform the project manager into a successful e-leader who is able to accomplish the project goals and build trust in digital environment, to lead a diverse team of partners coming from different countries, organisations, and occupations, and to use technology for effective communication and motivation.

The questionnaire is addressed to people who have been involved in international projects in the field of higher education and attempts to reach different stakeholders independent of their role and experience in projects.
