EntreCompEdu Café
The EntreCompEdu project which concluded in July 2021 and co-funded by the Erasmus + programme of the European Union, aimed to foster educators’ entrepreneurial education skills to strengthen their creative and entrepreneurial mindsets. The project adapted the EntreComp framework to the professional environment of educators and developed a free online training course. EntreCompEdu also developed a practice map collated by and for teachers with practical examples of how teachers foster an entrepreneurial mindset in their students. The EntreCompEdu professional skills framework, online learning course, and practice map are available on the EntreCompEdu website.
EntreCompEdu hosted regular Café sessions where an entrepreneurial education expert would present their findings, projects, or best practices and offer a space for fellow educators to discuss and share their ideas. EntreComp Europe partners Bantani Education and Junta de Extremadura are continuing the format of these sessions to bring EntreCompEdu sessions to the EntreComp Europe Community each month, delivered in both English and Spanish depending on the session host.
