Digital transformation has become the main talk in global policy fora ever since COVID started. But the issue with digitalization is not only ensuring that connectivity and infrastructure are there in place. Rather, it is making sure those connected are skilled enough to be able to not just have access to internet but also have the adequate knowledge needed to use technology in a way that is meaningful and constructive.

In this episode of our podcast series, hosted this month by ETF Communication Specialist Daria Santucci, we had a couple of renowned experts on digitalisation and labour market policies: Tom Wambeke, Chief Learning Innovation at the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organisation, alongside, Fabio Nascimbeni, Human Capital Development Expert at the European Training Foundation.

Speaking of digital inclusion and its implications for learning and education, many questions were addressed including: What does digitalisation really mean? And how do we ensure that everybody is not only connected but also digitally skilled to benefit from digital inclusion?

Listen to the episode to catch up more with the discussion about digitalisation under COVID and what it implies to the future of work and labour markets in Europe and beyond.
