Educators have a significant role to play in shaping the future through their impact on future generations. With the fast-paced technological advancements and changing needs of society, it is important to reflect on the following questions:
    How are children learning in today's world?
    Is our education system keeping up with the skills required for success in modern society?
    What digital tools are available to help students understand the world around them?
    What does the future of education hold?
The digital age has brought about a massive increase in the production and consumption of content.
Every minute,
    Instagram users share 695,000 stories,
    Snapchat users create 3.4 million snaps,
    YouTube users upload 500 hours of content,
    Twitter users tweet 350,000 times, and
    Email users send nearly 200 million messages.
This technological advancement has reduced the need for manual and routine labor, leading to job losses in certain industries. Companies today require young people to have a range of skills including
    critical thinking,
    skilled communication,
    creative problem solving, and
    strong interpersonal skills.
As an educator, I have had the opportunity to stay up to date with the latest advancements in education technology. I have attended online meetups with educators from different countries and obtained Microsoft certifications in various Office programs. I have taught a 21st Century Learning Design program to 40 teachers and provided training to approximately 800 people on Microsoft products and technology for educators. To keep my teaching approach innovative, I have used various tools such as Menti and Kahoot, and I was striving to earn the Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert title by August 2022. I am now Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert.
