One of the tools of the ETF Forum for Quality Assurance in VET is support to the implementation of peer visits in its Member countries, as a way of improving national quality assurance systems in vocational education and training
Peer visit is a form of external feedback from peers to host institution, on a selected quality assurance measure that requires revision or improvement.
ETF developed ETF Peer Visit Guidance and Training Manual that guides you through the 4 phases of the peer visit: preparation, implementation, delivery of peer feedback and follow-up.

Peer visits offer an exchange of information and discussion, but also give opportunities to strengthen competences in reflecting on own quality assurance approaches and offering constructive support to other countries.
Peer visit is a development-orientated procedure, which puts emphasis on demonstrating and analysing the strengths and weaknesses of existing quality assurance approaches.
