In the heart of the European Quarter at Atelier 29 (Rue Jacques de Lalaing 29, 1000 Brussels), we bring you an event very much at the heart of 21st century teaching. Aimed at fostering connections and collaboration among educators, entrepreneurs, and individuals passionate about innovative teaching practices, this is a unique opportunity for participants to engage in meaningful discussions, share experiences, and explore new approaches to education that promote inclusivity and entrepreneurship.

Starting at 16:00 and culminating with a cocktail party until 19:00, we'll offer you an energetic and inspiring atmosphere to network, learn, and exchange ideas.

The programme combines interactive sessions, panel discussions, and engaging workshops for like-minded professionals to forge or cement new or existing partnerships.

The EntreComp community Summer Networking event, with its focus on inclusive and entrepreneurial teaching, aims to inspire and equip educators with the knowledge, resources, and connections necessary to create dynamic learning environments that prepare students for success in an increasingly diverse and rapidly changing world. It will be a unique opportunity for collaboration, innovation, and professional growth, bringing together individuals who are passionate about transforming education and shaping the future of teaching and learning.

What to expect?

The spotlight of the event will be on inclusive teaching practices, emphasizing the importance of creating learning environments that cater to diverse student populations. Participants will have the chance to learn from the Erasmus+ project Supporting Inclusion and Diversity in Teaching (SIDiT), through which teachers in two primary schools in Brussels have successfully implemented inclusive teaching strategies and have witnessed the positive impact on student engagement, achievement, and overall classroom dynamics.

The event will also explore the role of entrepreneurship in education. It will showcase how entrepreneurial thinking and skills can be integrated into teaching methodologies to foster creativity, problem-solving abilities, and a sense of initiative among students. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain insights from students and entrepreneurial education professionals who have participated in the Erasmus+ project Young Entrepreneurial Teachers Initiative (YETI) which aims to promote and institutionalise entrepreneurship education practices among aspiring teachers in initial teacher education programmes.

Both these are projects that are co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
