The BBC micro:bit is a handheld, programmable micro-computer that can be used for all sorts of cool creations, from robots to musical instruments – the possibilities are endless. Moreover, BBC micro:bit encourages kids to learn basic coding and programming skills to prepare them for today's tech-savvy world. The aim ot the workshop is teach basic skills about coding with BBC micro:bit. The workshop consist of 5 different session (40 minutes per). The trainers will give information about micro:bir and coding. The students will learn basic tools such as using buttons, LEDs. We will use Microsoft MakeCode to code micro:bits. After the workshops, we expect to raise coding awareness for both students and parents.

Dear Selcuk, thank you very much for sharing this. Keep up the good work. Please also put some of the social media films, shows, any visual material that you all use so much during the training, courses, it helps grasps the work done but also it shows how all these means outreach more and more young people resulting in huge participation and engagement.
