"ENNE - European National Networks for the Enhancement of VET" is an Erasmus+ KA3 project funded in 2018 within the framework of the call for Networks and Partnerships of Vocational Education and Training (VET) providers.
The initial proposal is the result of long-lasting cooperation among the organizations that compose the partnership in the field of transnational mobility and it is based on their willingness to scale-up several good practices through the establishment and consolidation of five national networks of VET excellence in Italy, Belgium, Bulgaria, Portugal and Germany.
Despite the obstacles face due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ENNE has successfully managed to create a vibrant community of over 70 VET organizations that have involved their staff members and students in capacity-building and internationalization activities, putting the basis for future collaboration and sustainable exploitation of the project results.
In particular, the project has allowed the design and delivery of three training activities for VET teachers and professionals:
- Self-paced MOOC on “Quality of mobility projects in VET” translated into six languages, containing information and advice about accreditation and application provided by experienced mobility coordinators. The MOOC deals with several aspects important for project implementation like the selection and preparation of participants, tutoring and monitoring, evaluation, assessment and validation of learning outcomes according to ECVET.
- The format and related OERs for a blended course for the successful submission of Transnational Cooperation proposals in the field of VET, which has given the opportunity to the members of the networks to apply with five Erasmus+ KA210 project proposals, out of which four have been approved by the respective National Agencies.
- Set of guidelines for the use and promotion of the (Into)Quality Assurance System addressed to both sending and hosting organizations for ensuring a common understanding of the quality in mobilities.
The most important factor for the success of the ENNE project is definitely represented by the active engagement of our associated partners that have contributed to constantly updating the official communication channels with articles, posts, tweets, newsletters and videos, thus sharing a huge number of local good practices and stories from role models with the wider EU community of VET providers.
The project implementation period is about to end, but we are currently carrying out a survey on "Challenges for the Future of VET", whose results will be presented together with a set of Policy Recommendations for the Enhancement of VET through internationalization strategies during the Final International Conference next Friday 23 September in Brussels (and online).
