The 2nd Cycle of ENESAT started!
The ETF- Network for Excellence (ENE)- is an international network of Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs). The network exchange and share practices in different thematic areas to support vocational excellence development around the globe. Nowadays, 255 CoVEs from 41 countries worldwide are ENE members.
The ETF/ENE launched the 2nd Cycle of the ENE Self-Assessment survey for Centres of Vocational Excellence (ENESAT2022).
The ENESAT framework has been designed to collect evidence of vocational excellence which reflects the different needs and development pathway of each CoVE, and to help CoVEs reflect about excellence development and collaboration.
The self-assessment tool permits vocational skills providers to self-assess their own level of development against a shared set of indicators. This will help them to understand their own strengths and weaknesses and to plan their own improvement strategies.
What’s new?
The new self-assessment tool has three additional dimensions – so that the survey now addresses the following domains:
- Education-business collaboration and cooperation
- Pedagogy and professional development
- Autonomy, institutional improvement and resources
- Lifelong learning in VET
- Skills for Smart specialisation – mobilising innovation, ecosystems and SMEs
- Industry 4.0 and digitalisation
- Going green – supporting sustainable goals
- Inclusion and Equity (New)
- Entrepreneurship and Enterprise (New)
- Career Education and Guidance (New)
The survey includes a new monitoring section for schools or centres who already carried out a self-assessment more than 18 months ago.
These CoVEs are invited to re-assess their level of development, to evaluate their progress comparing their current assessment with their previous one.
CoVEs that are new to ENE can carry out a baseline assessment across all or some of the 10 dimensions that describe Vocational Excellence.
