1. Accept the phase of Distance-Learning and patiently and purposefully try to make the best of it. |
2. You should always keep an eye on the learning outcome and the well-being of your students and yourself (self-care and care for others!) |
3. In Distance-Learning you should also strive for variety, a mix of methods and sufficient learning outcomes through repetition.
4. You should plan about 20 minutes of theory input for each lesson, and the rest for practice, application, and consolidation of the material. Communication with the students (video, chat, assignments) is important and valuable. |
5. You should also divide larger tasks into small work areas so that the students can work on time at shorter intervals and receive motivating feedback. |
6. You should motivate yourself and your students* to be punctual and disciplined (documentation, attendance, ...) and to measure and enjoy the success you have achieved. |
7. You should grow with the ongoing education and training programs and always keep yourself up to date. |
8. You should believe that the supervisor perceives and appreciate your achievements just like in regular lessons. The students do this as well.
9. You should make use of the contact possibilities with your colleagues and students and not save with appreciative feedback. |
10. You should enjoy being allowed to exercise one of the most beautiful and important professions for our society! |
