Today, I remotely participated in the EYE project’s conference, 'Skills for Growth Conference 2023: Transforming Workforce and Education through AI,' held in Prishtina, Kosovo. It was a valuable opportunity to discuss the key functions and levels of automation of AI in education and training - Working Approach (helvetas-ks.org).
Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Kosovo encounters several challenges in providing relevant skills. Enterprises, business intermediary organizations, NGOs, etc., can play a crucial role in effectively addressing existing skill gaps.
Despite well-known challenges, such as the availability of quality data on specific economic sectors in Kosovo (XK), the potential role of AI in effective training has been highlighted as a driver for youth employability, better salaries, and overall economic growth and competitiveness.
