WorldSkills International is an international organization founded in 1950 and recognized by the United Nations.

In 2014 Regione Piemonte, through Agenzia Piemonte Lavoro, joined WorldSkills, sharing its vision and mission. Agenzia Piemonte Lavoro is the regional agency that coordinates the employment offices of Piedmont region, offering a variety of job related
services.
