As the proverb says.,Every white has it's black,, the same thing we can say about the Moldovan confrontation with the problems issued in the pandemic period.

The purpose of this article is the presentation of some non-communicable problems which appeared in our institution being as jump to the reorganization of some old rules, policies, and practices.

The approach of communicating about your problems to an international community is based on the idea that for the educational development to progress, its international impact nature has to be recognized. Decisions and courses of actions that are chosen every day by governments and local institutions are ultimately the outcomes of confrontations of different “world views” – reflecting different visions and interpretations of principles such as competency efficiency, equity, solidarity, empowerment, and justice, different views regarding how educational development should be pursued, and different views on the means through which specific issues (e.g. lesson plans, curriculums, organizational policies) should be addressed.

Methods for analysis

Collecting data to know the real situation was one of the most suitable and applicable tools in those hard times of quarantine. It is easy to stay in front of a person and see the problem on his face, but how to understand the whole community of teachers, students, people with disabilities which cope with the fear and uncertainty every day in their day by day life.

 Surveys were sent literally day after day to all categories mentioned above, and they really helped the administration of the institution to observe the level of stress, questions issued about the future running of lessons, assessment, and about the whole process of teaching-learning.

The use of the surveys in some multi-dimensional areas was the reason to start some unprecedented actions which led to important lessons, we learned that monitoring is clearly necessary. Monitoring not only the educational progress of the students but while much has been achieved is the emotional state of the learners. Next, the thing that we realized was that no matter who are you, student or teacher, or the administrative staff the problem is common-struggling for health and safety is vital.

Transformative learning

   One of the important lessons of the COVID-19 experience is that even it is a tragedy, countries can leave the establishment of countries with a robust educational system and set new transformative goals to be achieved in the distant future. Going forward, institutions need to pay special attention to improving their governance by ensuring: (1) effective communication   (2) participation; (3) stakeholder participation; (4) accountability and anticorruption; (5) effective coordination across units of working; (6) effective coordination across levels of staff; (7) technical competency of the bureaucracy; and finally smart use of technology. The pandemic period has shown that increasing the awareness of the attitudes of people can serve as another strong booster for further efforts in strengthening #New learning opportunities#, thus helping to achieve results related to educational progress, employment,  and equality.

While the educational community was already facing an uphill battle in achieving many developmental goals, the outbreak of the pandemic amplified many existing obstacles in the narrow path to educational progress.

During the crisis, the Center of Excellence in Construction had the following challenges:

  • teachers did not have the skills for distance learning, which differentiates them from face-to-face lessons;
  • students were given many tasks and little time to complete them;
  • carrying out practical and laboratory work;
  • lack of resources (equipment, internet traffic).

We have responded to these challenges by:

  • training course for teachers;
  • identification of methods for carrying out works in domestic conditions;
  • the acquisition of equipment and provision of internet traffic packages;
  • selecting the digital tools that require the least traffic.

Thus, the quality of studies has increased considerably, including the motivation of students.

Despite significant progress regarding some behavioral indicators, the digital world brought considerable problems with the online privacy of children, cyberbullying, and other critical problems that should be mastered to an excellent level.

Thus, whether or not post-COVID-19  will prove real dependence to move forward toward the greater partnership between countries all around the world.
